<p>We have a comprehensive and ongoing programme of engagement with businesses of
all sizes, across the UK, to ensure they fully understand their obligations as employers
of EU nationals.</p><p>We have made it clear there is no requirement for employers
to differentiate between those with settled and pre-settled status. EU citizens continue
to be able to use their passport or national identity card to evidence their right
to work and this will not change until 30 June 2021.</p><p>Employers must not discriminate
between those who have been granted a status under the EU Settlement Scheme and those
who have not.</p><p>Further guidance on right to work checks after 30 June 2021 will
be issued in due course.</p>
