New systems have been introduced over the last 12 months to help ensure that inaccurate or fraudulent information is spotted. Their integrity team has also expanded and there are currently around 80 staff working on integrity issues.</p><p> </p><p>Following the evaluation of the UK’s anti-money laundering regime by the Financial Action Task Force, the Government will actively consider areas where the regulatory framework can be improved. The UK supported the General Approach, the preliminary agreement by Council, on the Directive at EPSCO in June this year. These will help shape how best to implement the recommendations and achieve change that works for all.
