The number of outstanding cases recorded as associated with each Scottish local authority area can be found in Table 2. The figures that have been provided below relate to main applicants who have made an immigration application or an asylum claim between 1 May 2010 - 31 December 2013, and whose claim was recorded as unresolved on 31 December 2013. For data protection purposes, cohorts of fewer than 10 people have been indicated with a *.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>The data has been compiled by identifying the latest valid postcode on the Case Information Database (CID). For Scottish postcodes, this was then matched to the ONS Postcode database to associate it with a parliamentary constituency and local authority as far as possible. This postcode is the most recently recorded postcode for correspondence purposes and may not be represent the applicant’s of place of residence or be the same postcode provided at the time of These <br>measures are implemented by EU Regulations, which have direct effect in the UK and are separate to those which enable the UK to restrain funds domestically for criminal or civil confiscation under the Proceeds of Crime Act. <br><br>HM Treasury publishes the names of those subject to such EU financial sanctions on the Consolidated List of Financial Sanctions Targets in the UK, which can be found on gov.uk. HM Treasury is unable to publicly release information about <br>assets frozen in the UK or EU belonging to particular individuals due to restrictions imposed by EU and domestic law, both under sanctions and data protection legislation, as well as for reasons of confidentiality. <br><br>The Serious Crime Bill will implement one of the key recommendations of the policy review undertaken by the Asset Recovery Task Force, by lowering the legal test required to secure a restraint order to freeze assets. Other <br>recommendations of the review are to be delivered through the recently published UK Anti-Corruption Plan. The cost of the independent evaluation being undertaken by the University of <br>Bedfordshire is £138,543 exclusive of VAT. <br><br>An evaluation report will be submitted to the Home Office at the end of the trial in November 2015. The Modern Slavery Bill commits the Government to lay a report before Parliament no later than 9 months after <br>Royal Assent on setting out the steps it is proposed to take in relation to child trafficking advocates. The cost of the independent evaluation being undertaken by the University of <br>Bedfordshire is £138,543 exclusive of VAT. <br><br>An evaluation report will be submitted to the Home Office at the end of the trial in November 2015. The Modern Slavery Bill commits the Government to lay a report before Parliament no later than 9 months after <br>Royal Assent on setting out the steps it is proposed to take in relation to child trafficking advocates. We want the people and <br>communities of Northern Ireland to benefit from the full range of the National Crime Agency’s capabilities, as the rest of the UK does.
