answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 19/06/2018 answer text <p>Inappropriately placing people away from their home area is unacceptable and the Government is committed to eliminating these in non-specialist, acute mental health care by 2020/21. NHS England and NHS Improvement now have a comprehensive national programme supporting reductions in inappropriate placements.
