answer text <p>The Family Test was announced by the Prime Minister in August 2014 and introduced in October 2014 through the publication of guidance for officials - Family Test Guidance</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>The objective of the test is to introduce a family perspective to the policy making process, specifically to make the potential impacts on family functioning and relationships explicit.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>Defra is following guidance issued by the Department of Work and Pensions to embed and implement the test in the policymaking process. answer text <p>Rules on allergen labelling are set out in the EU Food Information to Consumers Regulation (1169/2011), and have applied since 13 December 2014.</p><p>This issue was last discussed at Ministerial level in 2011 when the Regulation was being agreed. It has not been the subject of discussions in the Agriculture and Fisheries Council since then. Officials in Defra and the Food Standards Agency have regular contact with their opposite numbers in other EU Member States to ensure consistent implementation of the new regulation.</p><p> </p><p> </p> more like this
