answer text <p>The European Union (Withdrawal) Act includes provisions to ensure existing EU environmental law continues to have effect in UK law. This will ensure that, wherever possible, the same rules and laws will apply the day after we leave as they did before.</p><p> </p><p>The UK Government will ensure continued compliance with the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES) on EU Exit, through converting the EU Wildlife Trade Regulations into a UK-specific regime under the powers set out in the European Union (Withdrawal) Act.</p> more like this
