answer text <p>The Disability Cost of Living Payment is a Department of Work and Pensions (DWP) led one-off payment of £150 that came into effect in September 2022.</p><p> </p><p>As at 30 November 2022 a total of 5,323 Disability Cost of Living payments of £150 have been made by Veterans UK to veterans who are in receipt of a qualifying Ministry of Defence (MOD) disability benefit only. The total amount paid is therefore £798,450.</p><p> </p><p>Please note that if a Veteran is in receipt of a qualifying disability benefit from the MOD and a qualifying disability benefit from DWP, they will get a Disability Cost of Living Payment from DWP only.</p><p> </p><p> </p> more like this

answer text <p>Bonuses paid out as non-cash vouchers is a standard practice across Government. The Ministry of Defence's (MOD) 'Thank You' scheme allows for managers to reward staff with a non-cash gift, typically vouchers, up to a maximum of £100. MOD operates its Thank You voucher scheme at an individual business unit level; the award, purchase and allocation is handled by individual financial units within the scheme rules up to a maximum of 0.1 per cent of the relevant pay bill. For this reason, the requested information is not held centrally and could be provided only at disproportionate cost.</p> more like this
