answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 09/01/2019 answer text <p>The Government has a duty to inform citizens and businesses about how leaving the EU might affect them, and to advise on the steps they may need to take to prepare for EU Exit.</p><p>We have developed a cross-departmental public information campaign to help achieve this. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 14/01/2019 answer text <p>DfT currently has just over 160 staff working directly on EU Exit and is drawing in more resource. The department’s current assessment is that it will not require a significant increase in staff numbers if the UK leaves the EU with a deal. In a no deal scenario, a substantial number of additional staff are likely to be redeployed from other roles in Government. The majority will be internal DFT staff or staff from other government departments.
