answer text <p>UKVI regularly monitor Sopra Steria Limited’s (SSL) performance against set Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).Sopra Steria are required, under the contract, to report on their performance on a monthly basis. These performance reports are reviewed by UKVI and form the basis of monthly performance conversations between the two parties. The information within the reports is used to drive improvements to service standards in line with contractual requirements. <br>. <br>SSL’s performance against these KPIs is commercially sensitive and therefore we are unable to disclose any detailed information.</p> more like this

answer text <p>Sopra Steria Limited (SSL) run the UK Visa and Citizenship Application Service (UK VCAS) centres on behalf of UK Visas &amp; Immigration (UKVI). The UKVCAS service points bring together identity checks, evidence digitisation and biometric enrolment but SSL and we regularly monitor SSL’s performance against a set of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)</p><p>However SSL’s performance against these KPIs are commercially sensitive and therefore we are unable to disclose this information.</p> more like this

answer text <p>The geography of UKVCAS service points is not fixed but rather designed to evolve with demand through the contract term. <br>Sopra Steria undertook extensive market research to identify it’s initial service locations; their research included the impact on customer travel time, cost and accessibility. <br>Sopra Steria can also cater for customers who wish to have more flexi-ble on-demand, mobile application services, for example at university campuses, employers’ offices or individual customers’ homes. <br>All service centres will comply with the Equality Act 2010 and Health and Safety Act 1974, this will include the provision of wheelchair access, disabled toilets and baby changing areas.</p> more like this

answer text <p>Data on lost passports in the last 12 months is not captured and consolidated across the Border, Immigration and Citizenship System. To find this information would require interrogation of individual case records and therefore could only be provided at a disproportionate cost.</p><p>From November 2018, the majority of immigration applicants who apply to confirm or extend their stay in the UK, or apply for citizenship, will be managed by the Home Office’s new commercial partner Sopra Steria on behalf of UK Visas and Immigration. As part of this new service, for the first time, applicants will be able to retain their passport and supporting evidence as part of the application process</p> more like this

answer text <p>Where migrants need to undergo a right to work check while their immigration application is outstanding and their documents are with the Home Office, their status can be confirmed by the employer contacting the Home Office employer checking service. answer text <p>Border Force is taking a number of steps to ensure passengers are dealt with quickly, including through investment in technology and maximising available staff at the busiest times of the day.</p><p>Border Force is committed to providing an excellent service. During the first quarter of 2018, over 95% of passengers seeking entry to the UK at Heathrow were dealt with within the service level agreements.</p><p>We have also increased resources that are available to the busiest ports. For example, Border Force is putting in 200 additional staff to help process passengers at Heathrow this summer. They will remain at Heathrow throughout the busiest summer-period to help ensure Border Force delivers an excellent service while continuing to protect the security of the border.</p><p>The experience for British and other EEA nationals is further enhanced where those passengers travel using biometric passports as they can use our ePassport gates</p> more like this
