answer text <p>Expenditure on Overseas Development Aid from 2015 to 2017 is as follows:</p><p>• 2015 £222m<br>• 2016 £376m<br>• 2017 £354m</p><p>The Home Office’s ODA spend is focused on the following three areas, which contribute to the delivery of the UK’s Aid Strategy:</p><p>• Support to asylum seekers and the resettlement of vulnerable people in the UK. This helps pay for food, shelter and training for up to 12 months. <br>• Work upstream in ODA countries to build capacity and capability to improve security, protect the vulnerable and tackle modern slavery. <br>• CSSF-funded activity to tackle organised immigration crime through the Organised Immigration Crime Taskforce, and to save lives at sea through the deployment of Border Force vessels in the Mediterranean.</p> more like this

answer text <p>The Answer of 18 April to Question 136551 indicated that 5 regulations had been laid with a further 4 regulations intended in 2018. To date, 8 of the 9 regulations have been laid. answer text <p>My department has introduced 5 regulations as a result of EU legislation since 23 June 2016.</p><p>In 2018, we expect to introduce a further 4 regulations.</p><p>In 2019, we do not expect to introduce any regulations as a result of EU legislation. However, the exact number is subject to ongoing negotiations.</p><p>All regulations implementing EU legislation that have been introduced since 2013 and impact assessments, where available, can be found on <a href="http://www.legislation.gov.uk" target="_blank">www.legislation.gov.uk</a>.</p> more like this
