answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 21/01/2019 answer text <p>All accommodation providers are required to provide safe, habitable, fit for purpose and correctly equipped accommodation that complies with the Decent Homes Standard in addition to standards outlined in relevant national or local housing legislation. Where providers are found not to meet these standards, appropriate action is taken to hold providers to account and resolve concerns.</p><p>Accommodation providers are also contractually required to take account of any particular circumstances and vulnerability of those that they transport and accommodate. The report also made several positive recommendations with regard to the current post-study work offer.</p><p>As set out in the Immigration White Paper, published last month, under the new student route all students studying at a Masters’ level, or at Bachelors’ level at an institution with degree awarding powers, will be eligible for a six-month post study leave period. Doctoral students will be eligible for a 12-month post study leave period.
