<p>The National Cyber Security Strategy is supported by £1.9bn of transformational
funding to defend our people, businesses, and assets; deter our adversaries; and develop
the skills and capabilities we need in both the public and private sectors.</p><p><strong>
</strong></p><p>This funding is just part of the total resources and spend on cyber
security across the public sector, complementing private sector investment. We have
made no comparative assessment of the resources or spend allocated to cyber security
in the public and private sectors.</p><p> </p>
