answer text <p>We published Improving Lives: Helping Workless Families in April 2017 where we announced a spend of up to £30m to launch the new Reducing Parental Conflict Programme. Planned spend in 17/18 is £5.91m. Funding allocations to projects/business areas in future years are decided on an annual basis and are subject to internal prioritisation.</p><p>The funding that was announced as part of the 2017 Autumn Budget, safeguards £15m pa investment on relationship support/parental conflict in 18/19 and 19/20. DWP has no plans to fund other projects than those mentioned in the budget statement, however, strengthening families is a cross-government objective and other government departments will be able to confirm their own plans in this area.</p> more like this

answer text <p>HMRC’s Real Time Information system collects PAYE information for wages and tax approved pension schemes.</p><p> </p><p>The Autumn Budget 2017 provides funding so that Local Authorities (LAs) can continue to take part in the Tackling Earnings and Employment Fraud &amp; Error Scheme which has been running since 2015/16. The scheme supports LAs who use Real Time Information to identify fraud and error.</p><p> </p><p>Funding will increasingly allow LAs to action automated Real Time Information earnings alerts in real time.</p><p> </p><p>Automated Real Time Information alerts will in addition be rolled out to Carer’s Allowance in 2018.</p> more like this

answer text <p>Child Maintenance Service (CMS) does not regularly collate information relating specifically to changes raised by a Receiving Parent (formerly PWC) in respect of a Paying Parent (formerly NRP). The CMS is able to provide information on all change of circumstance requests (those requested by paying or receiving parents) and this is held in the table below.</p><p>The average clearance time has increased over time as CMS caseload has increased. The data reported excludes those cases belonging to the CSA Scheme, as these cases are characteristically quite different and do not reflect the performance of the CMS</p><p>Scheme. answer text <p>DWP currently provides interest-free loans for customers in receipt of income related benefits who satisfy certain eligibility conditions.</p><p><strong> </strong></p><p>Social Fund Budgeting Loans are interest-free loans which are repayable from benefit awards. They are designed to help people who have been in receipt of a qualifying benefit for at least six months, with intermittent expenses that are considered difficult to budget for. The qualifying benefits are: Income Support, income-related Employment and Support Allowance, income-related Jobseeker’s Allowance, and Pension Credit. Universal Credit can be used as a qualifying benefit but only for claimants that migrate from Universal Credit to Pension Credit.</p><p><strong> </strong></p><p>Budgeting Advances are available to Universal Credit claimants who have been in receipt of benefit for at least six months to help meet intermittent expenses, such as buying essential items like furniture or household equipment. These advances ensure that low income families, that have an emergency financial need and don’t have access to adequate savings or affordable loans, can access funding to meet the emergency.</p>
