answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 12/12/2016 answer text <p>As a result of the spending review 2015, the Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC) has been allocated a budget of £21.435m for 2016-17.</p><p>Budgets for the years 2017-18, 2018-19 and 2019-20 are being finalised by the Department for Education in consultation with the EHRC, and are consistent with the spending review settlement provided to the Department. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 12/12/2016 answer text <p>The Equality &amp; Human Rights Commission (EHRC) is an independent body which, among other statutory functions, enforces the Equality Act 2010, encourages good practice in relation to equality and diversity, and monitors the effectiveness of the equality and human rights enactments.
