answer text <p>In its response of March 2014 to the Environmental Select Committee's Report: Code for Sustainable Homes and the Housing Standards Review, the Government set out that it would consider work being undertaken by the European Commission to establish common standards for the sustainability of construction before deciding on any next steps in developing sustainability standards in England.
