More than 3.5 million adults have entered the IAPT programme since its inception in 2008. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 14/06/2016 answer text <p>In 2014, NHS England published the <em>Five Year Forward View</em>, which included an account of five new care models designed to promote integrated service provision. 50 Vanguard sites are currently implementing a new care model, with the support of NHS England and the Department, and with a view to spreading lessons and best practice throughout the health system.</p><p>In order to deliver the best outcomes for service users, integration within the National Health Service must be accompanied by integration with social care. The Better Care Fund (BCF), first implemented in 2015/16, is continuing in 2016/17 and requires local government and the NHS to create pooled budgets in every area in England, bringing local leaders and clinical experts together to plan how to spend a portion of their shared resources to provide a more integrated health and care system for local people.</p><p>The BCF has laid the foundation for integration across the country, but the Government wants to go further, faster. The Autumn 2016 Spending Review set out the ambition that every area in England should integrate health and social care by 2020, with a plan for this in place by 2017. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 14/06/2016 answer text <p>To reduce bed-blocking we are working closely with NHS England, NHS Improvement, Local Government Association, Association of Directors of Adult Social Services and the Department for Communities and Local Government, to provide a wide ranging package of support to help local areas improve transfers out of hospital and reduce delays.</p><p> </p><p>The Government is giving local authorities access to up to £3.5 billion of new support for social care by 2019/20. In 2016-17, there is also a new Better Care Fund requirement on local areas to develop a clear, focused action plan for managing delays, including locally agreed targets. Friend the Secretary of State meets regularly with medical organisations to discuss a wide range of issues, including loneliness and how feeling lonely can have a significant impact on a person’s health and wellbeing. The Secretary of State addressed this issue in a keynote speech he made in 2013 at the National Children and Adult Services Annual Conference. The text of the speech is available at:</p><p><a href="https://www.gov.uk/government/speeches/the-forgotten-million" target="_blank">https://www.gov.uk/government/speeches/the-forgotten-million</a></p><p>Evidence is still limited for effective interventions which address loneliness. Public Health England’s (PHE) Behavioural Insights Team in collaboration with local government, clinical commissioning groups, general practitioners (GPs), and the third sector have designed a low cost, scalable and evidence-informed intervention. This helps to identify older people in primary care who are at risk of social isolation and loneliness and support them through services that draw on the best available evidence of ‘what works’. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 25/05/2016 answer text <p>The agency cap, introduced in November 2015 covers all staff in trusts and foundation trusts.</p><p>It is the responsibility of local employers, with their knowledge of service needs, to determine the numbers and skill mix needed to deliver quality care, patient safety and efficiency. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 25/05/2016 answer text <p>The Department does not provide any such support directly.</p><p>The Care Act 2014 places a duty on local authorities in England to meet the care and support needs of vulnerable people, carers and their families. Statutory guidance sets out the circumstances and services that a local authority, working with its local partner organisations, may arrange to meet people’s needs.
