answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 29/11/2018 answer text <p>The National Crime Agency’s Thinkuknow education programme endeavours to help children and young people identify the risks they may face online, build resilience against the threat of child sexual abuse and exploitation and know where to seek further support, including where appropriate, reporting directly to the NCA.</p><p>The NCA’s performance is monitored quarterly through the NCA’s internal governance structure and overseen by the NCA Board. It is then reported directly to the Home Secretary. This performance reporting includes information on ThinkuKnow.</p><p>There was an external evaluation of ThinkuKnow in 2009. CEOP took on board the recommendations, and the NCA continues to develop its education tools and resources in conjunction with young people, as well as its Ambassador network.</p><p>Following the implementation of new ThinkuKnow resources for eight to ten year olds in November 2016, new resources for four to seven year olds will be launched in January 2019. This includes the primary offence for which a person is charged and convicted – where a person is charged/convicted of more than one offence, only the principal offence is shown (this is the most serious offence based upon the maximum penalty for each offence). The Home Office also collects and publishes data on the ‘terrorist category’ of persons arrested for terrorism-related offences. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 03/04/2017 answer text <p>At the London Anti-Corruption Summit in May 2016 the UK committed to establishing the new International Anti-Corruption Coordination Centre (IACCC). The IACCC will be hosted by the UK’s National Crime Agency (NCA) in London and will bring together specialist law enforcement officers from multiple foreign jurisdictions into a single location to coordinate the global law enforcement response to allegations of grand corruption.</p><p> </p><p>The NCA leads the UK's fight to cut serious and organised crime. As officers from the NCA will be permanent members of the new IACCC any allegations of grand corruption requiring a global law enforcement response will be automatically referred to the IACCC. The IACCC does not become operational until April 2017.</p><p> </p><p>You will lso be aware that as part of the Fresh Start agreement the NCA is committed to working closely with the Police Service of Northern Ireland and HM Revenue and Customs to prioritise investment in the investigative capacity to tackle criminality linked to paramilitary groups, including those in border areas, and have submitted a proposal for consideration to be part of a team with the three agencies working closely together.</p><p> </p><p>Alongside the Fresh Start agreement a Joint Agency Task Force was established that is led by senior officers from PSNI and An Garda Síochána and will enhance the operational response to cross-border criminality, of which the NCA is a member.</p><p> </p><p>Finally, a response to allegations of corruption in Northern Ireland and the Irish Republic would not normally need to involve the IACCC as there are already strong bilateral law enforcement relationships in place. I am confident that he is taking all necessary steps to ensure the Northern Ireland Assembly elections, including the count, are delivered as efficiently as possible. Single Transferable Vote counts by their nature take longer than those in “first past the post” elections, and the Chief Electoral Officer’s primary consideration has to be the accuracy of the count.
