<p>We are proposing that family members arriving after exit, for example a future spouse, should be subject to the same rules that currently apply to non-EU nationals joining British citizens, or alternatively to the post-exit immigration arrangements for EU citizens who arrive after the specified date. These arrangements are yet to be finalised.</p>
