Safeguarding the rights of EU citizens who are currently living in the UK, and ensuring reciprocal protections for UK nationals living in the EU was our first priority for negotiations.</p><p>It is a commitment we have delivered. As the Secretary of State set out in his Written Ministerial Statement of 7 November, this analysis is contained in a range of documents developed at different times since the referendum.</p><p>As previously stated, listing the titles of all the documents that comprise market access analysis would likely impact the UK’s negotiating position by implying broader priorities of Government work. Furthermore, it is not standard practice to provide a running commentary on ongoing analysis, including titles and numbers of documents.</p><p>We have published 14 detailed papers on the negotiations to date and will continue to be as open as possible subject to the overwhelming national interest of preserving our negotiating position. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 08/02/2018 answer text <p>We will be seeking, wherever possible, to secure continuity with third countries as we withdraw from the EU.</p><p> </p><p>During the implementation period, the existing international agreements we are party to should continue to apply, including the EEA Agreement, Swiss- EU bilaterals and other agreements which govern the crucial elements of our trading and non-trading relationship with the EFTA states of Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein and Switzerland. We have said that people should be able to continue to live, work and visit the UK during the implementation period but there will be a registration system in preparation for our future immigration regime.</p><p> </p><p>Once the implementation period ends, we will no longer participate in these agreements and will need to put in place new arrangements with these countries. After we leave we will put in place an immigration system which works in the best interests of the whole of the UK. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 13/02/2018 answer text <p>We are content to listen to proposals from the EU on associated citizenship for UK nationals however, to date, this has not been formally proposed to the UK in negotiations. EU treaty provisions state that only citizens of EU Member States are able to hold EU citizenship. Therefore, when the UK ceases to be a member of the European Union, British nationals will no longer hold EU citizenship, unless they hold dual nationality with another EU Member State.</p><p><strong> </strong></p><p>We have secured a deal that will safeguard the rights of UK nationals living in the European Union, so that they can continue living their lives broadly as they do now.
