answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 25/07/2019 answer text <p>The Department has made no assessment of the effect on patients of the accreditation of the Society of Homeopathy by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).</p><p>The PSA sets standards for organisations holding voluntary registers for health and social care occupations and accredits those registers that meet them. The PSA’s list of accredited registers can be used by employers and members of the public to choose a practitioner to meet their needs and be assured they are safe and competent to practise.</p><p>The PSA is clear that accreditation is not an endorsement of a particular treatment or therapy or its efficacy but ensures that practitioners are part of a body that works to good practice and is committed to protecting the public.</p> answering member constituency Wimbledon answering member printed Stephen Hammond question first answered 25/07/2019 14:24:37 answering member 1585 label Biography information for Stephen Hammond

answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 14/07/2014 answer text <p> </p><p>The Department for Transport has recently reviewed the use of a derogation applied under EU Regulation 181/2011 (concerning bus/coach passenger rights) exempting bus and coach drivers from undertaking mandatory disability awareness training.</p><p> </p><p>To inform the review, on 24 February 2014 my noble Friend, the Minister of State for Transport, Baroness Kramer, wrote to bus industry representatives, disability stakeholders and charities seeking their input, to determine whether drivers are receiving adequate disability awareness training under the current voluntary arrangement.</p><p>Having received and considered many comprehensive responses, Baroness Kramer will share her findings with Ministerial colleagues shortly and discuss how to best to proceed.</p><p> </p><p>In the meantime, a summary of responses received in relation to the review will be made available on the Government's website in due course.</p> answering member constituency Wimbledon answering member printed Stephen Hammond question first answered 14/07/2014 15:31:32 answering member 1585 label Biography information for Stephen Hammond
