answer text <p>HMRC publishes annual estimates for a disaggregation of tax receipts between England, Wales, Scotland &amp; Northern Ireland. The numbers in this publication do not represent an estimate of the tax revenue that would be raised if each tax was collected at the devolved level. This information is not available.</p><p> </p><p>Since 2014, the independent Office for Budgetary Responsibility have also published forecasts for tax streams that are expected to be devolved to the Welsh Government.</p><p> </p><p>The Wales Bill removes the requirement for a referendum before the Welsh Rates of Income Tax are introduced, allowing the Welsh Government to become more accountable to people in Wales by becoming responsible for raising more of the money it spends.</p> more like this

answer text <p>Earnings in Wales are increasing faster than the national average.</p><p> </p><p>Boosting productivity growth and protecting jobs is crucial for creating a sustained rise in living standards. That is why this Government is investing in infrastructure, supporting job creation and reforming markets.</p><p> </p><p>The UK Government is also taking targeted action to continue to raise incomes through a number of measures such as increasing the personal allowance and freezing fuel duty.</p><p> </p><p>The OBR forecasts for November 2016 show that across the UK, average earnings are estimated to increase by 2.2% in 2016, 2.4% in 2017, 2.8% in 2018, 3.3% in 2019 and 3.6% in 2020.</p><p> </p><p> </p> more like this

answer text <p>I regularly discuss Wales's infrastructure needs with the Chancellor and other Ministerial colleagues. At Autumn Statement, the Chancellor announced that the Government is prioritising high-value investment, particularly in infrastructure and innovation, as a means of driving economic growth and raising productivity. We are increasing the Welsh Government’s capital budget by £436m which will enable it to fund infrastructure investment for the benefit of all of the people of Wales.</p><p> </p><p>Wales will also benefit directly from UK Government investment in Research &amp; Development and Digital Infrastructure.
