<p>This Government will make sure the economy works for everyone across the UK, including
in Wales.</p><p> </p><p>To help achieve this, the Government is accepting the recommendations
of the independent Low Pay Commission to increase the National Living Wage to £7.50
from April 2017. The Low Pay Commission took into account the state of the economy
and labour market in their recommendations.</p><p> </p><p>The National Living Wage
has been set so that it reaches 60% of median earnings in 2020, and will have no impact
on employment.</p><p> </p><p> </p>
