The Cabinet Office, which is responsible for the appointment process of Lord-Lieutenants in England, does not keep records concerning Lord-Lieutenants' ethnicity or sexuality.</p><p>The consultation process for the appointment of new Lord-Lieutenants seeks to encourage candidates from the widest possible base, representing all groups within society.</p><p> </p> more like this
