sets out a range of factors to be considered when assessing the suitability of individual
asylum seekers to particular types of accommodation and includes specific guidance
for the Napier site. A number of changes were introduced to the accommodation arrangements
and other facilities at the site following the High Court judgment, generally aimed
at more effectively managing Covid risks, better safeguarding arrangements, improvements
in the living conditions and other facilities and clearer information to the residents
on a range of matters, including that they are free to leave the site if they wish.</p>
