answer text <p>Since April 2021, people have been advised to allow up to ten weeks when applying for their British passport. Between March and May 2022 approximately 98.5% of UK applications processed were completed within ten weeks.</p><p>Urgent services are only required where an applicant needs a passport sooner than ten weeks. For the small percentage of customers whose applications take longer than ten weeks, there is an expedited service at no additional cost to help ensure that they receive their passport ahead of their travel.</p> more like this

To capture numbers would require a manual trawl of data and to do so would incur disproportionate cost.</p><p>Such applications received in accordance with the immigration rules for unaccompanied minors will normally be processed in date order from when documents are uploaded or after an appointment at a Visa Application Centre (VAC). answer text <p>The Nationality and Borders Act is part of our New Plan for Immigration, delivering the most comprehensive reform of the asylum system in decades.</p><p>An Equality Impact Assessment was published on 16 September, as part of the then Nationality and Borders Bill, and this includes consideration of possible impacts on children. answer text <p>UKVI offers a range of service levels for applications which include Standard service (15 working days), Priority service (5 working days), and Super Priority service (next day) after a customer has provided their biometrics.</p><p> </p><p>UKVI made a decision to prioritise the Ukraine Schemes following the invasion of Ukraine by Russia.
