answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 07/12/2021 answer text <p>Where we procure properties for asylum seekers, there is an engagement and consultation process to follow with stakeholders dependant on whether this is initial or dispersal accommodation.</p><p>For initial accommodation, including contingency initial accommodation, the Home Office will write to the Local Authority and the MP for the area to inform them of plans to use a site and arrange a meeting to discuss further. This is normally done in advance of a property being used, but where an urgent need for accommodation occurs, this may take place retrospectively.</p><p>For dispersal accommodation, which will be sourced in areas which have previously agreed to be part of this scheme, the Home Office’s providers will normally notify the Local Authority and begin a consultation process around the proposed use of a site. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 04/07/2019 answer text <p>The Government takes the issue of gender inequalities very seriously and recognises the intentions of those bringing forward proposals to reform male primogeniture for hereditary titles. Careful consideration is needed of the issues that reform in this area would raise including the legitimate expectation of males next in line to inherit a title, and the effects of reform on land and property rights. Various approaches have been proposed in both Houses to address this issue though there has not been a consensus on the way forward. I have carefully noted the points made about the current system of hereditary peerage in the context of the Hereditary Titles (Female Succession) Bill. However, this issue is complex and is linked with several equally complex issues, including the system of courtesy titles.</p><p>Under the current arrangements, the Equality Act 2010 provides that neither a life peerage nor a hereditary peerage (as an honour conferred by the Crown), is a public or personal office for the purposes of the Act.
