answer text <p>Mental health is a priority for this Government. That is why the Department of Health and Social Care is continuing to work closely with the Department for Education to improve the mental health of university students.</p><p> </p><p>To support this, the NHS Long Term Plan commits to a comprehensive expansion of mental health services, including a new approach to mental health services for people aged 18-25, supporting transitions to college and to adulthood, with services being adapted to create a comprehensive offer for 0 to 25 year olds.</p><p> </p><p>NHS England is working closely with Universities UK through the Mental Health in Higher Education programme to build the capability and capacity of universities to improve student welfare services and improve access to mental health services for the student population, including focusing on suicide reduction, and improving access to psychological therapies to support and treat students suffering from stress and anxiety.</p><p> </p> more like this

answer text <p>Since 2011 the Department has provided more than £26 million in financial support to NHS Blood and Transplant and Anthony Nolan to enable the establishment of a unified United Kingdom Stem Cell Registry and improve stem cell donation. This includes improving equity of access to unrelated donor stem cell transplantation for Black African Minority Ethnic (BAME) patients through targeted recruitment to the UK Stem Cell Registry and the Department has set specific targets about the proportion of donors that must be from BAME backgrounds.</p> more like this

The list is not intended to be exhaustive, rather it provides guidance on the sort of behaviour which could give rise to a safeguarding concern. It includes physical, domestic, sexual, psychological, discriminatory, financial and material abuse. answer text <p>NHS England has commissioned liaison and diversion services in custody suites and courts aimed at identifying those who are vulnerable. It is anticipated that by 2020-21, that service will cover the whole of England.</p><p>All children and young people within the secure estate are screened for brain injury through the comprehensive health assessment tool.</p><p>The NHS England prison health care national standards service specification requires providers to screen individuals where it is suspected that they may have an acquired brain injury. If an adult prisoner presents with a significant brain injury, a specialist neurological referral is made.</p><p>There are specific diagnostics for those whose presentations suggest a cause for concern. Where individuals so assessed are then sentenced to custody, this information will be passed to the escorts for prison reception.</p> more like this
