answer text <p>Expenditure on children and young people’s mental health and children and young people’s eating disorders is tracked in the Five Year Forward View for Mental Health Dashboard, which is available at the following link:</p><p> </p><p><a href="https://www.england.nhs.uk/publication/mental-health-five-year-forward-view-dashboard/" target="_blank">https://www.england.nhs.uk/publication/mental-health-five-year-forward-view-dashboard/</a></p><p> </p><p>However this information is not broken down to show information on expenditure for Tier 1, Tier 2 and Tier 3 Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services.</p><p> </p><p>For 2016/17 in Barnsley Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) the actual spend on children and young people’s mental health, excluding learning disabilities and eating disorders, was £4.178 million and for eating disorders was £143,000. For 2017/18 in Barnsley CCG the planned spend on children and young people’s mental health, excluding learning disabilities and eating disorders, is £4.3 million and for eating disorders it is £143,000. Information for 2015/16 is not available.</p><p> </p><p>Funding for Barnsley council to deliver services is through the local government finance settlement; this is generally un-ring fenced resource to deliver a range of services including social care.</p>
