answer text <p>The Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) Regulations 2014, against which the Care Quality Commission regulates, sets out that equipment used to deliver care and treatment must be maintained and used properly. The Health and Safety at Work etc Act 1974, Section 3 puts a duty on owners and providers to maintain safe equipment.</p> more like this
