This figure is taken from the first publication of annual figures on the use of restrictive interventions in inpatient mental health, learning disabilities and autism services and earlier data is therefore not available. The results will be published in the spring of 2018 and will help decision makers in addressing issues of access to services.</p><p> </p><p>On 31 March 2017 ‘Next steps on the NHS Five Year Forward View’ was published by NHS England.
