answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 11/06/2019 answer text <p>We are aware of the rise in young people self-harming, which is why we included a new key area for action to address self-harming in the cross-government National Suicide Prevention Strategy in 2017.</p><p>Our close work with the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport on its Online Harms White Paper will also help to tackle online harms associated with harmful suicide and self-harm content across the internet, including social media.</p><p>We continue to fund research into self-harming through the multi-centre study for self-harm in England, which will look at self-harming in children and young people in more detail over the next two years.</p><p>Through the NHS Long Term Plan we have also invested £249 million to ensure every emergency department has a mental health liaison team in place by 2020/21, which are well placed to treat people who present at hospital for self-harm. The Plan also commits to developing integrated models of primary and community care to support people with complex needs, including self-harming.</p><p>Investment in the Mental Health Five Year Forward View and NHS Long Term Plan will deliver timely, high-quality mental health support, including by 2023/24. The Implementation Framework will assist local health systems, who will build on the engagement already taking place across the country, in developing their strategic Long Term Plan implementation plan over the summer. NHS England and Improvement will then publish a national implementation plan in the autumn.</p><p>The Department wants everyone to have the same opportunity for a long, healthy life. The Ageing Society Grand Challenge sets out an ambition to ensure that people can enjoy five extra healthy, independent years of life by 2035 while narrowing the gap between the richest and poorest. All remaining maternity provider trusts are expected to begin the accreditation process during 2019/20.</p><p> </p><p>Public Health England (PHE) delivers a broad programme of work which contributes to increasing initiation and maintenance of breastfeeding. This includes interventions within the Healthy Child Programme which provides opportunities to discuss starting and sustaining breast feeding. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 12/06/2019 answer text <p>Funding allocated to the Healthy Start scheme is accounted through a single cost centre together with the Nursery Milk scheme. A split by individual scheme is therefore not available. In 2017-18 funding for these schemes was £104,709,791. Audited spend data for the 2018-19 financial year is not yet available.</p><p>This includes funding for the Healthy Start website which costs approximately £12,000 per year and which, together with the Start4Life website, promotes the Healthy Start scheme to the public and retailers. Retailers, local authorities and healthcare professionals such as midwives and health visitors are encouraged to use the relevant promotional material available on the Healthy Start website.
