answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 20/11/2018 answer text <p>The Government’s vision document, ‘Prevention is better than cure’, sets out our ambition to put prevention at the heart of health and social care in England. This includes both physical and mental health. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 12/11/2018 answer text <p>The Government has not undertaken an assessment of the potential benefits of routinely collecting data about the parental responsibilities of anyone diagnosed with a mental health condition.</p><p> </p><p>However, the Government does recognise that parental mental health problems can have an impact on the wellbeing of children within the family and statutory guidance published in July 2018: ‘Working Together to Safeguard Children’ acknowledges that children may be at greater risk of harm or need additional help in families where adults have mental health problems. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 17/01/2018 answer text <p>It is not possible to identify patients who have paid for non-emergency treatment and who are registered as having no fixed abode within Hospital Episode Statistics.</p><p> </p><p>This Government is concerned about the very poor health among people who experience homelessness and so we are taking action to address the root causes of homelessness. We are implementing an ambitious legislative reform, the Homelessness Reduction Act, which means more people will get the help they need earlier to prevent them from becoming homeless in the first place. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 16/01/2018 answer text <p>The Department does not issue guidelines on accessing specialised support services for people with mental health conditions who may be experiencing financial difficulties. Where financial difficulties are identified as an issue for a person receiving treatment and care for a mental health condition, signposting already exists in some general practitioner (GP) practices and in Improving Access to Psychological Therapies services.</p><p>A person who is experiencing financial difficulties or a debt crisis may approach their GP or another health professional to provide evidence of their mental health condition to their creditors to help aid any support a creditor may be able to provide to that person. This will contribute to the target of helping up to 29,000 more people per year living with mental health problems to find or stay in work as recommended in the Five Year Forward View for Mental Health which is available at:</p><p><a href="https://www.england.nhs.uk/wp-content/uploads/2016/02/Mental-Health-Taskforce-FYFV-final.pdf" target="_blank">https://www.england.nhs.uk/wp-content/uploads/2016/02/Mental-Health-Taskforce-FYFV-final.pdf</a></p><p>To date, NHS England has commissioned the NHS Benchmarking Network and Centre for Mental Health to undertake a data collection exercise on activity in IPS and Supported Employment services within 2016/17 to provide an indication of current access to such services.</p><p> </p><p>NHS England is preparing to allocate transformation funding identified in the Five Year Forward View for Mental Health and the subsequent Implementation Plan: ‘Implementing the Five Year Forward View for Mental Health’ for the commissioning of IPS services to selected sustainability and transformation partnership footprints from April 2018.
