answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 11/12/2014 answer text <p /> <p>There are 2125 desks in the Department’s main building.</p><p> </p><p>(a) The Department does not own any of these desks.</p><p> </p><p>(b) Since 1998 the Department for Work and Pensions occupies the majority of its accommodation under a Private Finance Initiative (PFI) known as the PRIME Contract.</p><p> </p><p>Under the terms of this PFI, the Department leases back fully serviced accommodation from its private sector partner Telereal Trillium. Requests may be handled as business as usual or as a Subject Access Request in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 11/12/2014 answer text <p /> <p>I have understood the question to be about the Pension Protection Fund (PPF), which pays compensation to members of eligible pension schemes where the employer is insolvent and the scheme can not afford the PPF level of compensation.</p><p> </p><p>The Board of the PPF is responsible for ensuring that it has sufficient funds to pay compensation.
