answer text <p>Hull City Council has received £5,195,560 and East Riding of Yorkshire Council has received £6,823,460 in Additional Restrictions Grant funding. This is a discretionary grant which is being provided to local authorities in order to provide support to their business communities over and above the up to £3,000 per four week period grant available to all businesses that are required to close due to national or local restrictions. The Additional Restrictions Grant can be spent at any point up until the end of financial year 2021/22.</p><p> </p><p>In addition, areas reverting to either Tier 2 or Tier 3 following the national lockdown would be eligible for both Local Restrictions Grant Support (Closed) for businesses that are required to close and Local Restrictions Grant Support (Open) that provides Local Authorities with a discretionary fund to support businesses that are not required to close but are severely impacted.</p><p> </p><p>We are working closely with local authorities to roll out business support grant schemes as quickly as practicable and we are keeping levels of support under close review.</p>

answer text <p>Government guidance on shielding and protecting those who are clinically extremely vulnerable from COVID-19 states that this group of people are strongly advised to work from home. If they are unable to do so they should not attend work for this period of restrictions. In all instances, employers must carry out a workplace risk assessment and take action, so far as is reasonably practicable, to ensure the health, safety and welfare of their employees. Where HSE identifies employers who are not taking action to comply with the relevant public health legislation and guidance to control public health risks, they will consider taking a range of actions to improve control of workplace risks.</p><p> </p><p>Individuals can seek impartial advice on their specific situation from ACAS (or the Labour Relations Agency in Northern Ireland). answer text <p>We recognise that the death of a close family member, friend, or colleague can be deeply upsetting. The Government believes that individuals are best placed to understand their own specific needs and we encourage their employers to respond in an appropriate and sensitive way.</p><p>In April this year we introduced a new statutory entitlement to Parental Bereavement Leave and Pay for parents who lose a child under the age of 18. Whilst this entitlement is not available to employees who suffer a bereavement in other circumstances, all employees have a ‘day 1’ right to take unpaid time off work for an emergency involving a dependant. Time off for Dependants can also be used to deal with practical issues, including registering the death and making funeral arrangements.</p><p>We will bring forward details of the Employment Bill in due course.</p> more like this

answer text <p>At the 23<sup>rd</sup> April 2020 meeting of the Consumer Protection Partnership (CPP), members’ comments on consumer related issues that had been identified in the park home sector and detail of any action undertaken were collated and forwarded to the Ministry for Housing, Communities and Local Government (MHCLG) who were reviewing what could be done to mitigate some of the detriment faced by park home owners. The Government’s response to MHCLG’s consultation on the fit and proper test for site owners and managers was published in July 2020. answer text <p>The Government is working closely with local authorities in England to get funding out to businesses as quickly as possible. Local authority guidance was published on 3<sup>rd</sup> November and grant offer letters were sent to local authorities on 6<sup>th</sup> November. Payments to local authorities were made from 13<sup>th</sup> November.</p><p>The Local Restrictions Support Grant (closed) is applicable in England only. The Devolved Administrations are responsible for the administration of support schemes in Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales.</p> more like this
