answer text <p>This information is not held centrally.</p><p> </p><p>The government is supporting the new Active Lives (Children and Young People) survey, which was rolled out to schools in September 2017. The survey is delivered by Sport England on behalf of the Department of Digital, Culture Media and Sport, Department of Education and Department of Health and Social Care. It will provide a world-leading approach to gathering data on how children aged 5-15 engage with sport and physical activity. Data will include girls’ participation in football.
