answer text <p>Local authorities are not required to carry out children’s centre inspections in place of Ofsted inspections. Registered early years provision within children’s centres will continue to be inspected by Ofsted as part of the Common Inspection Framework. Children’s centre inspections are suspended and local authorities are responsible for managing children’s centres and ensuring the services they provide through children’s centres meet appropriate quality standards.</p> more like this
