answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 24/05/2023 answer text <p>The attached supporting table details the number of personnel of each rank for the three services of the Armed Forces as at 1 January 2023 which is the latest date for which the information is available.</p><p>Service personnel statistics are produced quarterly, using data at points 1 January, 1 April, 1 July and 1 October. The quarterly statistics are available at the following link.</p><p>https://www.gov.uk/government/collections/quarterly-service-personnel-statistics-index</p><p>It should be noted that the rank information is updated annually as at 1 April.
