<p>The Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) maintains a central record of the number of
defendants whose prosecution was completed and where the principal offence at finalisation
is categorised as a sexual offence.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>During each of the
last ten years the number of defendants prosecuted, in (a) North Wales and (b) England
& Wales, whose principal offence was identified as a sexual offence, is as follows:</p><p>
