<p>Public health funding for 2020 onwards, including for sexual health services, will be considered carefully in the next spending review, in the light of all the available evidence. Local authorities have been mandated to commission comprehensive open access sexual health services and are best placed to understand and meet the public health needs of their local communities.</p>
