answer text <p>The Government is committed to legislating to ensure that freeholders who pay charges for the maintenance of communal areas and facilities on a private or mixed tenure estate can access equivalent rights as leaseholders to challenge their reasonableness. answer text <p>The 2016-17 English Housing Survey found that 10 per cent of private renters who have moved in the last three years have done so because they were ‘asked to leave or given notice by the landlord’. Government is committed to taking steps to make renting more secure. In the private rented sector, we have recently consulted on overcoming the barriers to longer tenancies. We will be responding shortly.</p><p>Most social tenants have lifetime tenancies which do not have an end date.</p> more like this

These are published at a local authority level. answer text <p>My Department has asked local authorities to collect information on benefits received by the main claimant of a homelessness applicant household since April 2018 when the Homelessness Reduction Act came into effect. This data is still being collated and quality assured and will be published as soon as practically possible. It will contain information on whether the main claimant of applicant households is claiming State Pension and/or Pension Credit (if the benefit contributes most to their income relative to any other benefits also received or applied for).</p> more like this
