We have asked authorities to think very carefully to ensure they have the infrastructure and support networks needed to deliver the appropriate care and integration of these refugees they plan to resettle. The number of people resettled in a particular period will depend on a range of factors. This includes the number of referrals we have received from the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees and the number of confirmed places we have received from local authorities that are suitable for the specific needs of those who have been accepted for resettlement. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 14/11/2016 answer text <p>The UK Government regularly shares intelligence and cooperates with our international partners to monitor and counter displacement from Calais.</p><p>The UK is working extensively with international partners to tackle the people smuggling gangs who may facilitate displacement to other ports. In November 2015 the then Immigration Minister signed a joint declaration with Dutch and Belgian ministers to strengthen our joint response to the threat from organised immigration crime at northern European ports.
