answer text <p>The Home Office ensures that asylum seekers, who would otherwise be destitute, are provided with accommodation and a weekly cash allowance.</p><p>This includes free, furnished accommodation, and we also cover utility costs and provide individuals with a cash allowance to cover other essential living needs.
