In all cases where the Immigration Rules were not met, consideration was given to leave outside of the Immigration Rules on exceptional grounds.</p><p> </p><p>The Grenfell Relatives’ Policy announced on 11 October 2017 allowed relatives granted a short period of leave outside of the rules, to extend their stay up to six months from their date of entry to the UK. Existing policies are in place to allow any relative to apply for further leave to remain in the UK.</p><p> </p><p>We have plans to publish statistics about applications made by survivors and relatives of victims and survivors in due course, once the data have been properly assured.</p> more like this
