Friend the Member for Uxbridge and South Ruislip (Boris Johnson), visited Burma in January he raised a number of human rights concerns with both the civilian and military authorities. Specifically he called for a restrained security response in Rakhine State, for immediate humanitarian access there and for an end to discrimination against the Rohingya. He also called for a de-escalation of conflict in Kachin and Shan States, as well as for full humanitarian access. He did not specifically raise women's rights.</p><p>Protecting women's rights was, however, the explicit focus of the visit of the Minister of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, my noble Friend, the Rt Hon. the Baroness of Anelay of St Johns, who visited Burma in November in her capacity as the Prime Minister's Special Representative on Preventing Sexual Violence in Conflict. She used her visit to press the Minister of Defence on the importance of the army handling allegations of sexual violence against women in a thorough and transparent manner. She lobbied senior Ministers for a full and independent investigation into reports of human rights violations. During her visit the Minister heard direct from Rohingya leaders about the plight faced by their community in Rakhine State including a range of human rights violations. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 02/03/2017 answer text <p>​Communication is core to diplomacy and is a component of many roles in the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO): it is therefore not possible to specify the exact number of staff who have a communications remit.</p><p>The FCO's central Communication Directorate had 88 staff on its UK based headcount as of 31 January 2017.</p><p>The Communication Directorate consists of four departments: a Media Office, a Campaigns and Engagement Department, a Digital Transformation Unit and a Counter Daesh Communications Department. Collectively they have responsibility for a range of activities to achieve the FCO's priorities of protecting our national security, generating economic growth and helping British people overseas. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 01/03/2017 answer text <p>​I opened the UK-China Human Rights Dialogue in London on 27 October 2016, where the UK raised concerns about allegations of organ harvesting.</p><p>The World Health Organisation (WHO) collates global data on organ donations and works with China on this issue. Officials from our Embassy in Beijing met representatives of the WHO earlier this year. We have called repeatedly for an independent investigation into these reports. The UN High Commissioner for Human Rights has issued a substantive report on the violations carried out by the military in Rakhine State since 9 October.
