In line with advice from a panel of independent experts, the testing process for cladding samples being run by the Building Research Establishment (BRE) is specifically designed to characterise the core of Aluminium Composite Material (ACM) cladding samples.The tests are not designed for, nor can they provide suitable information on, any non-Aluminium Composite Material (ACM) cladding samples.In each of these cases the landlord will be informed that their sample is not ACM cladding and has not been tested. All non-ACM samples are being kept by the BRE until further notice.
