answer text <p>The Government published its response to the recommendations made by the Independent Fan Led Review of Football Governance in April 2022.</p><p>I recently met representatives from the Football Supporters’ Association, and from club supporters’ groups to discuss issues with our national game and what the solutions might be. I have also met representatives from the football authorities to discuss reform.</p><p>The Government recognises the need for football to be reformed to ensure the game’s sustainability in the long term. Therefore, the government is taking the time to consider the policy and consult the numerous stakeholders, but remains committed to publishing a White Paper setting out our detailed response to the Fan Led Review of Football Governance.</p><p> </p> more like this

answer text <p>The Government is committed to supporting the domestic tourism market, including the city of London, by working towards the objectives set out in the Tourism Recovery Plan (TRP).</p><p>London was a featured city in VisitBritain’s international marketing campaign Welcome to Another Side of Britain. The GREAT-funded campaign ran in the USA and Europe and was designed to encourage the return of international visitors.</p><p>VisitEngland also ran the Escape the Everyday DMO Recovery Marketing Fund. Visit Greenwich was one of the successful DMOs.</p><p>In September, VisitBritain hosted Destination Britain North America, a 3-day trade fair in Washington DC, connecting British suppliers with tourism product buyers and media from the US and Canada. 15 London-based suppliers attended. Major events continue to be an important driver of tourism to London and the government will continue to work with stakeholders in the industry to attract important events to venues across the UK.</p><p> </p> more like this

answer text <p>Since May 2022, the Government has launched a support service open to all victims or those at risk of conversion practices regardless of their background or circumstances. The Government has committed up to £360,000 over three years to this service. The service includes a helpline, instant messaging service, and website to enable people to get the support they need.</p><p>More widely, the Government remains committed to protecting everyone from these practices. We are carefully considering the responses to the public consultation which closed earlier this year and will respond in due course.</p> more like this
