answer text <p>The number of fixed and rotary wing aircraft available varies from day-to-day according to normal fleet management activities and requirements.</p><p>The Sustainment Fleet includes aircraft undergoing upgrade or maintenance or being held in storage.</p><p>The RAF Museums operate at arm's length from the Ministry of Defence and any RAF aircraft that have been donated to them are not maintained in airworthy condition and are for static display purposes only.</p> more like this
