<p>The Ministry of Defence keeps costs within the Queen Elizabeth Class Aircraft Carrier programme under very close scrutiny. The final cost of the programme will be subject to commercial negotiations with the Aircraft Carrier Alliance. The overall impact will only be clear once we have concluded our talks.</p>
