This includes International Game Technology (IGT), which supplies gaming system technology and hardware to Camelot, the current National Lottery operator.</p><p>IGT has confirmed in its most recent assessment that it did not have any convictions, breaches or risks in relation to modern slavery. That is why we have the listed events regime.</p><p>In determining what events form part of this regime, a balance between accessibility and the ability of sporting organisations to generate revenues from commercial broadcast arrangements to invest in the development of their sports from the grassroots up. The Gambling White Paper outlines a range of proportionate measures to tackle practices and products which can drive harm.</p><p>The Government is working closely with the Gambling Commission to ensure it has the necessary resources to regulate the industry effectively, as set out in our review of the Gambling Act. This includes cricket.</p><p>However, we recognise that there is more to do. The Independent Commission for Equity in Cricket report notes that while progress has been made in the women’s game, there are still areas for concern. Clearly the sport needs to reflect carefully on these findings and consider how best to deliver clear and sustained cultural change across cricket, including around equitable treatment of men and women working within the sport.
