answer text <p>I attended the Indo-Pacific Security Dialogue from the afternoon of the 5<sup>th</sup> December to the morning of the 7th, where I joined a number of open panel discussions. Conferences and multilateral events are not reported in transparency unless specific meetings were held in the margins – which was not the case on this occasion.</p> more like this

answer text <p>GATT dispute reports are often considered at the World Trade Organisation in dispute settlement proceedings. However, GATT dispute reports do not set precedents in the way that judgments do in the domestic legal system.</p><p> </p><p>The particular case referred to (GD/54) was settled following consultations (SR.18/4) and never came before a GATT adjudicator. There was therefore no GATT dispute report for this case.</p> more like this

answer text <p>The Crown Commercial Service’s (CCS’s) media services framework agreement (RM6123, Lot 1) is a single supplier framework with Manning Gottlieb OMD, for the provision of Strategic Media Activation. The supplier was appointed by CCS following a competitive process in December 2021. The Department for International Trade (DIT) has entered into a compliant call-off contract with the supplier, which is effective from 22 May 2022 until 12 December 2025. DIT’s contract reference is CR_1761 and it has a maximum value of £43,000,000 (excluding VAT) however it should be noted this is not a committed spend, only a contract ceiling.</p> more like this

answer text <p>The Media Buying framework agreement (RM6003) started 7 November 2018 and ended 21 May 2022 and has now expired. The framework agreement was awarded to OMD Group Ltd (OmniGov) following a competitive tendering process in 2018. Customers used this framework agreement by putting in place a call-off contract.</p><p> </p><p>The Department for International Trade (DIT) has spent £39.7m (excluding VAT, which is recoverable) under RM6003 between May 2018 and May 2022. This has delivered marketing campaigns both domestically and internationally, promoting British goods and services and working to secure investment into the UK.</p> more like this

answer text <p>There was a typo in my answer of <a href="https://questions-statements.parliament.uk/written-questions/detail/2022-03-29/149191" target="_blank">6 April</a>. The correct cost of the flight was £5,575.72. The department’s transparency return published in January 2020 included flight costs only.</p><p> </p><p>Transparency returns include the best information available to the department at the time of publication. On some visits, accommodation, transport and other services are provided by Embassies or host governments. Information on the costs of these services is not centrally held.</p> more like this
